Be part of the Autodesk DESIGNNOW Student Challenge
Competition open to students at the following tertiary institutions:
Stellenbosch: 8 & 9 August 2017 (Room M306)
UCT: 17 & 18 August 2017 (Venue to be confirmed on campus)
CPUT: 18 & 19 August 2017 (Venue to be confirmed on campus)
The Challenge is run over a two day period. The first day is basic software training for new users and the second day is a full day of designing something amazing with your peers, your friends and Autodesk Fusion 360.

How is this done:
1 Day Autodesk Fusion 360 Training Workshop followed by 1 day Autodesk DesignNow Challenge.
Recommended Team Size:
Teams must be between 2 or 4 people. Each team should have access to at least one laptop but a laptop for each user is recommended.
Who can register:
Anyone can register, all engineering, design, technical and misc. fields are welcome!
Is anyone excluded:
No, anyone can register providing they are a student of the University!
Autodesk Fusion 360 | Autodesk’s Cloud Powered 3D CAD / CAM Software for Product Design.
Winning teams will be invited to the final challenge on 7 September 2017, taking place at the Century City Conference Centre, where they will compete for top honours against the top three selected universities. In addition, you will also get to attend the prestigious Autodesk University Event on the 8th September where the main winners will be announced. This is a great way to showcase your work and talent to the leading South African Engineering and Design firms!
Each University team stands to win prizes of up to R3,000 in Takealot Vouchers. There are also a number of other prizes up for grabs, from Intel, Autodesk and HP!
We know how hungry competitive students can get, so there will be pizzas and soft drinks provided to everyone who pre-registers for the DesignNow Challenge on the day of the Challenge.
